Try www.asos.co.uk (or it might be .com) and take a look at websites of shops like Dorothy Perkins, Matalan, Primark etc. You will then be able to see the current stuff on sale - we're wearing stuff from the 80's at the moment so get your leggins and big baggy jumpers ready!

There is an awful lot of revival of the early to mids 80's look presently, think Westwood's pirate look or Kim Wilde and her spiky hair, stripey baggy jumpers, big boots, wide belts with large buckles, flat shoes or kitten heels, short skirts or full flowing ones. Remember also this 80's look lent heavily from the 50's. By 80's I dont mean the later 80's shoulder pad crazy, power look. The best thing to do would be to get hold of the current British Vogue and Cosmopolitan Mags. The trend is also to mix thrifty bargains with key designer peices.
Shops like New Look and Primark have become cutting edge for bargain trends. I would imagine the major differences between Spain and the UK are climate appropriate garments!

It all depends what community you mean as the fashions vary enormously!
For your average 18-40-year-old girl or boy, smart boot-cut or flared jeans are the thing, and wool winter coats are very popular.
Unfortunately there is also a large underclass in the UK that dresses in tracksuits, hooded tops (with large sports logos, eg Nike) and white trainers. A thick gold chain finishes off the look nicely.
Hope this information is useful!

Brown and rustic colours seem to be in at the moment. Polka dots made a comeback this year. The bigger and bolder the better. Winter seems to have brought out fake fur all over again. mainly as trim around the collars and cuffs, and the tops of boots. Going out without any underwear has not taken off here yet but then it is the middle of winter. Lets wait and see what the spring brings in eh.

My guy goes crazy about me wearing long leather boots with heels, particularly if I wear tight jeans and tuck them into my boots! Try it and see the reaction of guys as you walk through town. First time I wore an outfit like this I was amazed how many guys I caught staring at my boots! Important though that you don't wear too long a coat as it'll cover your bum and spoil the effect!

It's nothing like the 80-'s, fashion is good at the moment. Lots of different trendy looks going on, in London at least. I can't say for sure that the backward northerners have moved away from tracksuits yet, but there's still hope.

80's fashion is in right now in UK. Stuff like long tops with belts and footless tights and boots. I dont really care for following other people tho, I will wear what suits me and expresses my individuality rather looking like a fashion victim.

Well you've only been gone a year so it's not that different!! Also Spain isn't that different to here - at least you weren't in Africa or somewhere.
