The planet is on an ever constant, slow "wobble" and this phenomena has been happening ever since this planet formed and started it's rotation around the sun. This will go on and on until the planet is dust. The cycle is so slow, however that we don't really see the effects drastically and entire civilizations will rise and fall before it starts to tilt slowly back the other way.
It's no biggie. I would be more concerned about the crust shift that happens from time to time (in geological terms that is). There's a working theory that Antarctica used to be in the same place that North America is now and the entire crust shifted several million years to maybe a few hundred thousand years ago. Recent ice core samples are starting to point to this being more and more plausible.

I think I heard something about the tsunami making the Earth spin and wobble slightly. I was watching Nova on PBS with my Dad when they said the Earth contracted slightly, like an ice skater bringing her arms in for a spin, so we're rotating slightly faster. No biggie though, we're only rotating less than a hundredth of a second faster.

Ok the reason we are having shorter days is because its winter. Ever heard of that one thing called day light savings time? Well thats what it is. But the Earth might move out of place during the Tribulation period and the Anti-Christ are on our earth.

The days are not shorter and the Earth has not moved out of place.

No, we're actually getting LONGER days because the earth is slowing down. It's not very noticeable though - we have to have a leap second every few years to catch up. There was a leap second at the beginning of this year, for example.

No, what I heard is that earth as you know is moving in an elliptical way and that we are nearing a critical point where it is possible it changes the way it rotates on its axe...
I "sure not" am a specialist!
And the book I read it in was one of the weirdest ever!

Nope ... it sounds pretty stupid and if it did, CNN and Fox would be beating the story to death for months.
