I JUST bought the cutest dublin sweater, its mostly white and its ALL white where the glob landed. I washed it ***and dried it*** already. I used shout on it before the first wash, and that didnt work- I heard that I should try the clorox pen. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to get this stubborn stain out?

AND- I was making chocolote cupcakes for work, and I got cupcake splattered all over my BLUE sweater. It didnt come out either... How do I get this stuff out?
Both sweaters have been washed and dried.
Thanks.

Hi, I can attest to the clorox pen, it took a rust stain out of one of my favorite fancy T shirts. It took two applications, and I was able to save it. Also, there's a spray called Zout (rhymes with Shout) and its a notch above the rest (quite effective) I've tried many stain removers, and this one boasts that it removes blood stains, (I haven't had to do that, thankfully). I purchased it at Walmart.

have you ever tried utilising between the various pre-wash stain removers there are available? you in basic terms rub them over the stain and then wash them as established and that they've consistently worked for me. You seem an fairly messy eater nonetheless. i might positioned money right into a sort of Tommy Tippee infant bibs, you already know the style? With the little upturned edged on the backside so which you would be able to consume the dropped bits as 'seconds'!

take your dry shirt pour a bunch of -murphys oil soap- on it (found in the laundry care section)
scrub the stain with a toothbrush or brush or something like that.

wash it - hang dry it, it will be gone guaranteed

edit.......
oh and nbc did a test on clorox pen, tide to go, and shout wipes. all worked horrible. the clorox worked a little but of course it does. its bleach

Find that scrubbing in a bit of Dawn dish washing soap with a wet sponge (rinse and then re-scrub) several times usually does the trick. No Dawn - try some baking soda. No, squeeze some lemon or clear vinegar on it and scrub in...

Talcum powder, baby powder, even corn starch sprinkled on the oil stain mayl remove it -- works best to apply before the clothing is washed. good luck

try shampoo, or rubbing some laundry detergent on it ( straight from the bottle, it works better than the pen because it is stronger). or go really old fashion and try club soda ( my grandmother told me that one).
