Some kids still ask for race tracks depending on the track layout. But the majority of kids prefer Ps2's because it is now the trend. And if they know their friend has or is getting a PS2 by all means the child in question wants one too.

I have 2, 4 & 6 year old boys and it's pretty much all electronics (DVD's, Playstation, plug and play games, etc.). My boys all love Thomas the Tank Engine stuff though, which isn't a racing track, but similar. I always get them board games too to get them away from the video games.

No way do kids want race tracks! unless your kid might be 4, but it all depends on how old your child is. if they are around 7 or up and they watch TV allot then they probally know what a wii or a PS3 is. Kids want video games out withe old and in with the new. some video game systems that kids might want today are wii, PS3, xbox, xbox360, PS2, Nintendo DS, Hyper-scan. Some children don't know what is playstation but they still say..i want to play ps2..they love and enjoy ps2
