what ever happened to the ecw fans that were in one night stand,??? the ecw i see have normal fans

WWE tries to avoid areas that have a large number of ECW fans. This is because ECW fans are a passionate lot, and voice out more than WWE fans. They're straightforward and can get vulgar at times. I feel that ECW fans are cool, because they say what they wanna say!
In any case, WWE tries not to have riots in their arenas, that's why all the ECW fans are mostly WWE and SmackDown! fans (because ECW tapings and SD! tapings happen on the same night).

Another thing to consider too is that the ECW fans you saw at ECW: One Night Stand were at the Hammerstein Ballroom, the place where ECW basically began. Those fans are always exciting to watch and they come up with awesome chants to annoy the wrestlers. My favorite part was when they threw toilet paper across John Cena. RVD was so over. Everywhere else though ECW fans aren't as vocal, which annoys me really because that's why it's so boring. The fans are what interests me to watch ECW. I guarantee everytime ECW goes to New York they get awesome reactions. So thats why. Also ECW and Smackdown are taped on the same day. So if you go to watch Smackdown, you will also be able to watch ECW as both shows are pre-taped. And because of that, the media center can quiet down audience reactions and chants so all you hear are cheers and boos.

One Night Stand was held in the old ECW venue I believe, and ECW was still technically separate from the regular WWE shows. The old ECW fans in the area weren't gonna miss a show like that.
The ECW shows you see on sci fi are taped when Smackdown is taped, they aren't doing separate tapings. The shows are run at the same venue back to back... partly the reason for darkening the crowd lights, ring changes, etc. to make the shows appear different.
Even if somehow they got a lot of the old fans (who are of course disgusted with what Vince has done with it) to go to a show, it still wouldn't be the same since they would have to do a lot of editing to make sure it was acceptable for the network censors (which One Night Stand did do... some of the sci fi execs who watched it expressed a big concern if the crowds were going to be chanting like that).

It's not the same ecw. Ecw right now is a joke. Sure you've got a couple of the old ECW wrestlers like RVD, Sandman, etc., but the show is horrible. WWE makes a Sunday Night Heat out of ECW. The matches are pretty sub-par.
