I don't think that the democratic congress will do that unless as a last resort, it does pose danger to the troops to do this and nobody wants that. I do think it is past time to leave Iraq to the Iraqi, they will never accept the U.S. form of government or a puppet government set up by the U.S. so whether we stay there a year or 100 years I don't think it will make any difference. When we do decide to bring the people home they will still have to work it out for themselves in order to make themselves happy. In answer to your question, no there are several ways to stop this evil and corrupt person that was appointed to the presidency. One being impeachment and that process seems likely after the investigations into his monetary gain from the war.

No. Stopping the war in Iraq is a no-brainer. All that has to be done is to put both of George's daughters in uniform, stick a rifle in each of their pudgy little hands and send them off to Iraq. The war would end that afternoon.

Given the absolute direction the citizens want America to take, and seeing how Bush is ignoring it, cutting off funding is the only recourse.

cutting funding will do it every time, although I am sure that a way to work around it will be found by George should that happen
