I want to carry my baby on the back like I've seen women do in Kenya. How do I do this safely?

I would just create a sling to carry the baby in. It is safer because you can see the baby. If you insist on carrying the baby on your back...

I use a carrier called a mei tei. It is wonderful for carrying baby on both the front and back. I couldn't live without this !

If not in Africa, get a lady who is from there and ask them to assist you. If you specify your location, i could assist you /point you where to find such ladies (mostly university students or immigrants from Africa)
Real cool, much better that the baby carriers BabiesRUs will sell you, not to mention they are most original!

My aunt is from Africa and she did this to my baby with a sheet...send me your email address and this sunday I'll ask her for step by step directions and send them to you.
