OMG! you awful music Pirate! Gasp!
Just kidding!
I used a tape player and a patch cord to feed the output of the player directly into the input of the sound card on my PC.
It's very easy to do, just go to radio shack and get a stero patch cord with a male on each end.
Your PC records to the HD in WAV format so you will need some app to compress to MP3 format.
Once you get started you will see that it is very easy.

i dont think you can do something like that i would be easier if you look to see what songs are on your old cassetts than go to a site like lime wire and just download them
