If you've had your membranes stripped then how long after that did you go into labor?

It can take up to 3 days or not work at all. I had mine stripped and had to be induced anway...my friend had hers stripped 3x and was still a week late and had to be induced.
It all depends on if your body is ready for labor or not if it will work.

I had my membranes stripped on a Friday around 2pm, and didn't go into labor until 11:45 pm on Sunday. My water never broke, and it was my 3rd child. I guess it just all depends on when that little bundle wants to come out. Just be prepared. I even packed up and moved into a new house after I had my membranes stripped. Just go on with your normal stuff and let nature take its course. Good Luck,

I had my membranes stripped with my first child 3 times and it never made me go into labor unfortuately.. I had to be induced at 41 weeks... But if it works they say that it could happen the same day!! Good luck to you

I had my membranes stripped at 9 AM and was scheduled to go into the hospital that night at 7PM. I went into active labor at 5PM that same day... guess she was ready! It just matters how ready your body and baby are. Good Luck!

I had mine stripped at 9 am and was in labor 10 hours later. But it doesn't work for everyone though. Your baby will come when he/she is ready to. I know that it seems like forever and you are probably really tired of being pregnant...but let nature run it's course and all will be fine.
You wouldn't eat food that isn't thoroughly cooked...and you don't want to have a baby that isn't done either! :)

My membranes were stripped without my consent with my first.
It still took a week for me to go into active labor.

I went into exertions interior 12 hours of the nurse on the well-being middle stripping my membranes. I also had GBS, and there have been not any complications in any respect. I basically had to have antibiotics via the exertions and shipping.

I had mine stripped and still had to be induced a week later....a friend of mine had hers stripped and went into labor that night....so you never know! I would be prepared...could happen at any time!
