I first dived when I was ten in a pool in London, and in the next twenty years have since dived off Australia, Antiga Barbados. I'm off to dive in Bali this week. It depends on the child and who is looking after them. If the child is strong enough and understand the tools then it is your own limits that you are really looking at.

Oh Yeah, they love it. SSI offers a scuba rangers program that is very exciting for the kids. They always have a certified instructor with them and they learm a lot of valuable skills including discipline. Also a great time for the parents to take a break. check out the scuba rangers web site

yup do it for like the 13 and 12 year old only not any younger because they are sometimes stupid of what theyre doing under water

Absolutely...as long as they are with a certified instructor and/or diver...someone to make sure they are safe...it's a great deal of fun....
