Well let me start this with I am 25 years old... So last night I had a guy over and things got a little intimate..(i went through a long dry spell of not being intimate with anyone, close to 2 years) and when we were together I had a bit of spotting afterwards... I honestly know that it isn't my hyman i haven't had one of those for a very long time but is it normal to spot a bit after being through a dry spell?

I don't know how much spotting there was. If it was enough to use a pad, then no. You need to call your doctor immediately.

If it was just a little spotting lasted maybe a couple hours then yes, it can be normal. He may have irritated you and caused some bleeding (just like sometimes you may spot after a gyn appointment).

If you are truly concerned, call your gyn office. They can ease your mind

No- this is not normal. Bleeding/spotting after sex can be due to many reasons including cervical dysplasia, chlamydia, gonorrhea, vaginitis or cervicitis, cervical polyps, trichomoniasis, yeast infection, endometriosis or adenomyosis, uterine polyps, and fibroids. The only way to know for sure exactly what is going on is to see your doctor for an exam and testing.

This is a common thing for many girls. He probably tore something inside you to make you bleed (or spot).

If you continue to bleed for several days, then consult with your doctor right away.

You may just want to go see your doctor to see if he's carrying any diseases.

Make sure you protect yourself. You're very young and it will be difficult for you to live with HIV at such a young age.

I feel your pain. I went through a looong dry spell myself and had the same situation. You just got tighter over your dryspell and had a slight tear. your partner must be a big boy ;) You body just has to get used to stretching again.

If it has been two years then you have gotten tighter in that area and you had sex and stretch the area out....This is normal...If you are used to one size of a unit then have one that is twice its size then this will probably happen as well....Its normal don't worry about it...

You need not worry my dear. I have seen that happen to lots of women that I have been with. It has been awhile for you, and maybe he gave you an extra hard shankng. It will pass. You just needed a little breaking in. It's all good baby. Please don't worry, it's very normal.-EVIL ERICK
