They aren't the best, but they aren't the worst. There are much, much worse bands out there. And to whoever said SuperNova is the worst band, what the hell? I could certainly do without Lukas Rossi and Jason Newstead is not my top choice for a bassist but he is talented. But ******* Gilby Clark and Tommy Lee. They are both ******* legends.

No, they are a good band. Their later stuff has become formulaic, which is a shame, but listen to their earlier work - before "Silver Side Up" and you will see a completely different band. That, and their concerts are incredible!

I, too, think Nickelback is downright horrible. Their singer's voice sounds like a prehistoric growl/whine, their music is simplistic and poorly written, not at all catchy, and it makes my skin crawl.
In Canada, we have Canadian content regulations for our radio stations, where they have to play a certain percentage of Canadian music.
The end result is while you tune into a rock station to hear The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and other staples of contemporary and classic rock, you end up hearing a disproportionate amount of awful Canadian bands, like Nickelback, Tragically Hip, and Rush.

MAN u suck big time nickel back is like one of the best rock bands of our generation u dont knoe good rock do you and by the way their songs are so deep and their lyrics are the best they dont deserve to be hated on by ****** up dick faces like urself.

i am not so sure about nickel back being the worst band. you ought to hear "OASIS" from england. they are complete losers, both musically and vocally.

Sorry, I love them....and Theory of a Deadman, Default, Hinder....all those pop rock bands...that's not aaallll I listen to though...

You're wrong. I saw them in concert--the drummer is awesome. Three Days Grace suck.
