This girl whom I really like is having her birthday next month. Okay, let me tell you more about her first. I have told her my feeling one month ago, and sadly.. she said she just wants to be friend.

However, I refused to give up yet I do not want to be a stalker. i just want to be a best friend of her first. How can I do something special for her on her birthday which is not annoying but will leave a memory for her?

We are 14

Thanks!

Look, I am not some dating expert, but I am a girl myself. It is best not to rush into a serious relationship with her because, believe it or not, you might end up scaring her away. Slowly begin talking to her on an instant messenger or kindly ask her for her phone number. Once she starts to adapt to you, maybe she will consider going out with you. Do not rush the relationship you want with her -- that's the worst thing you can do. As far as the gift idea, I would get her something thoughtful and from the heart. I suggest getting her a nice necklace or bracelet, or earrings. Girls can never have too much of them. Like I said before, don't get all mushy with her now, give it some time and soon your heart will be taken.

Try getting her something for her birthday that will show her that you still adore her. Something that is sweet and hints that you still like her, but not demanding.

Maybe there was a time she mentioned her favorite cookie or brownie. Maybe even what her favorite animal is. If she does, try getting her a cute little stuffed animal that's her favorite.

I'm sure she'll love a birthday present along those lines. Maybe she'll be impressed that you remember some of the things she has said to you.

Good luck!

The best thing to my mind is just not to pay attention to her during this time before her b'day, not a single glance or word, exept for the formal greetings and stuff like that. Try to stay as cool as possible. And then, on the day of her b'day leave a flower on her desk at school if you are in the same school, or at her porch with an anonymous note with wishes of happy birthday. You can also leave smth that you associate with her.

You could get her some cute little item that says I Love You or it doesn't have to say anything I'm sure she'll get the idea. I've seen out in the stores single glass roses, glass paperweights that have images inside them like I saw one the other day it had two adjoining hearts with a rose going through the two hearts. Anything in that respect. And trust me it does not have to be expensive. For example if someone gives me something romantic like that even from the dollarstore I'll be happy.

Don't hang around so that you will grow on her, if she ever does agree to be in a romantic relationship with you it is only because she likes your personality or feels like just giving in and trying it out, that chemistry, attraction, the spark never existed and it probably never will. Even though you are not forcing her to go out with you by you being around all the time trying to appeal to her will make her feel pressured to give you a shot and then she will always feel like she is not attracted to you but she feels bad to leave you because you are so nice. Don't be that guy, let her go. She doesn't want to be your girlfriend.

it's probably cold where you are too, right? Buy her a sweater, a really cute one. In a color that just looks awesome on her. Tell her in advance to the birthday (I don't know if kids still write notes, but this would be easy to do in a note...it removes you from the personal one on one, it will be easier for you to lie your butt off) Tell her that you understand her decision, and that you would like very much to just be her freind, and maybe just get to know eachother a little better....then attempt to make plans for a group of friends just to hang out one night, not like a "date" but just a fun night with friends....the movies, or bowling (sounds dumb, but it really is fun when you're with friends just having a good time) Then in the birthday card, tell her that pink (for example, what ever color looks good on her) may not be her favorite color, but it is a really good color for HER(word this carefully, because if you word it that "this color looks really good on you" she'll know what you're up to, and she will not apprieciate it). That's my first idea. my second is to make her a mix cd of her favorite songs. Good luck hun!

since im a girl we all kinda think alike... so all i would want is just to have a great birthday even if i wont get anything... and i think shes just always gonna remain friends with you but its good that you're still trying... just spend time with her... but dont get bummed out if she likes another boy because she already told you she just wants to be friends... im sorry but this is reality... but there is a possibility that she'll change her mind...
