Go to your provider and tell them you want a new phone. You'll have to pay for it, but there's nothing preventing you from getting a new phone. If you're a heavy user (say $100/month or more) they may actually waive the fee if you ask too.

A couple of different ways, depending on your carrier. I work for Alltel, so my answers are based on my knowledge.
If you're not eligible for the discounted pricing -
* If you have insurance on your phone, you can pay a deductible and get into a comparable phone. You normally don't get a say here.
* See if your carrier offers certified or refurbished phone at a discounted price. A lot of times these are like new.
* Score a phone online and take it in to your carrier to have your number switched. Keep in mind that most carriers will charge you to switch the service. You'll also want to make sure you've seen screenshots of the phone to ward off any physically damaged phones.
Good luck!

If your two years is up you can get a new phone if you threaten to cancel. You can look on ebay for a new phone... make sure no bill is owed on that phone... You could see if you can get insurance and then get a new phone that way if yours is lost or stolen. TALK to a SUPERVISOR...usually they can get things done that others can't. It depends on how long you have been with the company and if you have paid a lot of money as opposed to how many credits you have recieved over the year.

You have to go to your provider's store and buy a new one (or do it online). Unfortunately, you will have to pay full price (which is ridiculous). Try looking on eBay or amazon.com for compatible phones - they usually have new phones on there, much cheaper than retail. If you want a really expensive phone, it might be cheaper to cancel your service and pay the fee - then you can sign a new contract and get your discounted / free phone.
Happy calling :-)

I recently got two free/new phones and a one year contract with T-mobile.I was under the impression you had to sign up for two years with all the cell phone companies. I saw what I wanted on line and then called Wirefly Mobile and they offered me free phones and a one year contract. you have to call them to get this deal. I was extremely happy with this deal.

Generally you can just call your carrier and depending on how close you are to an up grade they may just give it to you. They will usually give you some credit depending on how long you have been with them. Also try looking on Ebay and at Flea Markets
