Never has there been a society more advanced, but yet so utterly stupid -- not just the USA, but pretty much all Western cultures -- up here in Canada a judge banned a Christmas tree from a court house lobby because she thought it would send a message of bias to non-Christians. Never mind that Christian symbols, in a historically and still predominantly Christian country are appropriate at the time of the largest Christian festival. Never mind that at the same time they continue to pervert the highest Christian holiday with greed and commercialism and replace Christian symbols with cartoon characters. It's also funny, since I've known a lot of conservative Christians through the years who won't put a tree up because they see it as a secular symbol. Based on her reasoning I wonder if that judge were in Mecca she would request that the Muslims refrain from displaying their religious symbols as well.

No. I see this nowhere. You are missing the point of the holiday season.
I re-read your other questoin AND the answers and you seem to think that substituting "happy holidays" for 'merry christmas' means the same as "We don't want Christians".
The Holiday Season is just that. Originally "Happy Holidays" meant to cover both Christmas AND Hanakah as well as New Years. Now, with the influx of new cultures Happy Holidays is a way to wish a good time to everyone without having to determine ahead of time what religion they are (if any!).
I was born jewish. Raised by a Jewish Mother and a Protestant Father, who, after they married, joined the Morman church. After my father died, my mother tried Budhism and I turned to the Baptist Church. My older brother went Methodist, my younger brother celebrates the Winter Solstace and my sister is an athiest. Currently my mother attends the Jehova Witness Hall, and I have married a Native american woman who celebrates the great spirit. If you saw my family in December, a Happy Holidays would greet us all. Merry Christmas means the same to us, and we are quite tolerant if you use it. Perhaps you need to be more tolerant of what people say at this time of year. Be glad they are wishing you well and not wishing you harm.
Happy Holidays to you and yours!

Nobody who isn't a loudmouth or a crackpot is trying to eliminate Christianity in any serious or meaningful way. I don't know if you have noticed but Christians are everywhere. They represent, at least in the US, the lion share of the population. Trying to eliminate Christianity from the US would be like trying to repeal the law of gravity.

I think I understand where your coming from.... Let me ask a question of my own... let's take the Jewish people of America... Those big Corporations and big News media are owned by whom.... I believe that most are owned by Jewish people... That's why there is so much protectionism towards these people... They have silently infiltrated themselves among us and now we are seeing more and more articles showing them coming out, what irked me the most was the rabbi trying to replace our Xmas tree's and threathening to sue the airlines. What do you think, please feel free to email me if gone beyond what you were trying to say.
