I agree, He just has a droning voice with a rythm that make you feel like it is time for a bed time story and to go to bed.

I"m from the South and am used to people talking slowly. I can't focus on him though because I am usually busy.
I've noticed his monkey ears before too, but my family doesn't seem to see them.
