just simply contact that person telling them that you were thinking of them and wanted to know how they were doing, or just that you were thinking of them and hope that all is well...good luck ;-)

if they are too intelegent for simple appologies then dont make it simple! have it mean something think about if for like a day and when you think u got it just tell them the appologie have it come from the heart

Ask this person how you can regain your friendship with them, tell them you'd do anything except for something that you are totally against.

start out small conversations even just a hi or a how you doing once in a while... eventually everything will fall into place...
