Ordinarily, unless you are extremely well known in your field, sending an application online or even in writing to US companies will not give you the sponsorship or work visa you need.
One thing you have to understand is why US companies are allowing foreign nationals to work -- i.e. because these workers are exceptional; or they are passable talent at low cost compared to US nationals; or because there is a shortage in the labor supply. Either way, the company will have to spend for the alien's sponsorship whether they give you a temporary workers permit such as H1B or employment based immigration
Without knowing what field you are in, it is difficult to ascertain your chances as some fields are more open and easier to get into the US than others (e.g. a nurse has a stronger chance rather than a cashier at a retail store where they have plenty in the US). You have several options:
1. Check if there are recruiters in your area and ascertain that these are legal recruiters (there's a lot of scammers out there preying on people's desire to work abroad). I remember before at PhilamLife when their entire IT department was wiped out when a recruiter brought many of their computer programmers to the US. The recruiter will help you process the work visa and other required documentation while you are still in the Philippines.
2. Travel to the USA and apply for jobs here. The challenge of course is how to get to the US, especially with stricter screening at the US embassy. You need to have a job and a strong reason for going back, not to mention proof that you have the resources to travel to the USA. Once here, you can try to find employers who may be willing to sponsor you. This way, they don't have to pay for your travel expenses because you are already here.
It will not be easy, but many Filipinos have done this already. All you need is a sense of adventure, lots of talent, and a lot of good luck.

You must obtain a certification for a job that is needed, and not easily filled, or has more jobs available than can be filled in the US such as nursing. Then you must coordinate your efforts through The Philippine and US embassy as an overseas worker.
