I would have a meeting with the boss and talk to him calmly and sensibly about why you didn't get a bonus. Tell him you feel like you do more than others who did get a bonus. Be calm during all of this and listen to what the boss has to say. Then afterwards, if he didn't say anything that is acceptable to you or something you can work on, I would look for a new Job in January, because that's when a lot of people start hiring. But keep your cool, because maybe the boss has a good reason, like you haven't been there as long as the others, or maybe you broke something expensive. Be calm and listen and be sure to nicely and calmly tell him how you feel. Good luck and God bless!

Although it may be difficult, don't show your anger at work. You do not want to jeopardize your job around the holidays. But, if it really bothers you, then make a New Year's resolution to look for another job. Personally, if companies give bonues to one employee, they should give them to all...even if it is a small amount. At my present company, people who are with the company less than a year get at least recieve $50. Other people who have more seniority may get more based on performance. At a previous job, my co-worker grabbed my paystub off of my desk and seen that I got the same amount that she did for a holiday bonus. She was with the compay 10 years and I was only there a few months. She started to slam things on her desk and get an attitude. Later on, she discovered that everyone got the same modest amount because the company was not doing well that year. But how she acted probably did not get her bonus points. My point is to try to keep your cool even though it may be difficult to digest. Sooner or later, you will get what you deserve, whether it is a raise or a better job opportunity. Good luck to you. Merry Christmas.

There must be a reason for that. Since a Christmas bonus is optional and doesn't HAVE to be given, there's not much you can do about it.

The choice is your's -- stay where you are, or look for another job.

If they give 1 a christmas bonus, they should give everyone a christmas bonus! That is my thoughts.

Well, i would say either you are in denial about what you do and what others do OR your boss is a lamo who likes brown nosers.

Bring it up with the boss. If that doesn't do anything, find another job where you are more appreciated.
