Did you think of planning a year ago for Christmas and perhaps not be strapped for cash? Your "gift certificates" sound lame & cheap & more related to Valentine's day.

In theory, but when she 'cashes' them in...they won't seem as 'romantic' or 'spontaneous' as they would if you just did them. But you know her better than any of us.....
