By the age of 13yrs we start getting erections and the best way to know is that there is penile tumescence ( i.e. morning erection ).More over there is night fall which i suppose you must be knowing well.

Its so simple. The penis is an organ like any other. It doesn't just "spring into action" on a certain day (sorry for the pun), it needs to exercise itself over a long period of time to build up to having full sexual intercourse at adulthood. The penis has spontaneous erections from a very young age - even infants - and this continues into adult hood. Grown men get nite-time erections every night - its the penis's way of getting exercise.

when a boy is 3-4 months old. But erection will not be own, if someone simulates or massages the penis it will get erect,not from sex point of view. actual erections are when a boy reches puberty

I raised two sons. Even toddlers get erections. The symptoms? A hard penis would be it.

I can remember my father laughing at me when I woke up with a piss hard when I was 5 years old. it was not sexual, guys just allways wake up with morning wood! oh yea the symptoms are a hard penis

from one year boy can have an erection, but it is not for sexual excitement,i remember i had erection when i was child but i couldn't understand why this phase happened to me

I remember my son having one while changing his diaper. He was about a year old. The symptoms are, the penis stands up. I remember him saying, "Mom, my pee-pee hurts.... will you kiss it and make it better?"... True story
