There are plenty of remedies, but by far the best thing to do is to see an appropriate doctor (GP, psychologist, natural therapist, whatever) and discover and treat the cause, not just try and mask the symptoms.
If you don't treat the cause, it will keep manifesting itself in a horribly creative and changeable way - by which I mean once you've got one symptom under control, another one will pop up in its place.
Treat the cause.

I'm literally surprised that no one has mentioned chiropractic to you. All nerves run through your spine. Your vertebrae can pinch these protruding nerves. This can cause flinching, spasms, etc. A misplacement of a vertebrae (along with fixation and nerve interference) is called a "subluxation". A subluxation can be detrimental to the entire body. It can cause your immune system to fail, infertility, ear infections, headaches (works great!), bowel problems, etc. I would seriously say that going to the chiropractor first, then a nutrition expert, exercise, and last resort a neurologist.

Hi! I think that in most cases people have nervous problems cause they have a lot of things to do and a lot of problems to solve. So, my strong advice is that you must try to get rid of all your routine problems and tasks for some time - just do nothing, think about nothing, etc. It's not so simple as it may seem, but I strongly recommend you to try this - the results will be great, believe me!

i can't stress to you how important it is to identify any foods, drink, environmental factors such as smoking & poor relationships that may be causing nervous irritability. take an honest look at your situation. eliminate stimulants. your body may be exposed to several of these: overloading your system. hopefully, your nervousness isn't psychological. i would love to have more info: how long have you experienced this problem, your home situation, your age, smoker?, drugs? etc. once you've stopped all posible culprits, you will find out the cause. in the meanwhile drink plenty of water, rest, vitamin supplement. you have got to take responsibility for your health. nobody can do it for you.

Depends upon the cause.
If the cause is any one of the following, it can be treated:
Malnutrition/Deficiencies,
stress
Consumption of some harmful substances like alcohol(though not always curable),etc
If it is due to brain cell death,it cannot be treated,Though some medications can improve the condition.
