Deep. I think right now we are digital images typing in relative obscurity trying to find friendship and solidarity through a solitary eletronic medium, the internet.
As for that other question, I'm still not sure if we exist at all. Half the time life seems like a dream or occassionally a nightmare. But so unreal. Sure there are real moments, the sense of awe from a beautiful sunset, the touch of a loved one, but those fade and always leave me with the sense that I'd simply dreamt it all. I've been waiting to wake up since I was a child. I'm pretty much convinced that none of this life is real. It is all dreamt up in someone's imagination and I am just an actor in that dream.

I've thought that. . . I contemplate most things. . .
perhaps in excess.
It's good to learn about yourself through thought;
Yesterday, I was talking to a man who looked at me and said:
My ideal Chrismas would be spent tossing ideas back and fourth with scholars. . .I was, for a moment taken back by his enthusiasm for self growth. . .taken in by the idea that someone felt that way as well. . .then thought I would love a Chrsitmas similar. . .only with one person. . .one "soulmate:" to grow with through conversation after the kids fell asleep after a long day of santa claus, and christmas activity. . .
The point is: It is part of our humanity and the growth of our soul to contemplate. .. each thought brings you closer to yourself.
Don't forget, in the grand scheme we can all seem like dots of clay. . .but, in reality I believe we are all placed on this earth to serve a purpose. . .and discover ourselves through life. . .through the world, through eachtoher.

only one time, as a kid, at a baseball game. i actually got dizzy for a few minutes and it scared the hell out of me.
