Ashley Stewart is the place to go! They are much much cheaper than Torrid, Lane Bryant, Avenue and plus the clothes fit you better! Everytime I go to one of those stores, I have to get a size 24 but @ Ashley Stewart, I can fit a 22! I don't know where you live but go to their website and find the store nearest you. You can't shop online yet but you can view some of their clothes adn styles. Everyone I've told about this store loves it! The downside though is that it only carriers sizes 14-24. Some shirts have a size 26-28 but not all. Good Luck! : )

You could use the search engine and enter "Women's Plus Size Clothing". Personally, I prefer Lane Bryant Catalog or Roaman's.com which are both owned by the same corporation.
They make it easy to shop online and have the best quality at affordable prices.

I am a Brussels native but now live overseas - My wife and myself visit Brussels twice a year, generally for about 10 days to 2 weeks each time - Traditionally, ladies in Brussels go shopping for clothing on Rue Neuve (between Rogier and Monnaie) and also between Porte de Namur and Place Louise, and also in the closest Avenue Louise section near Place Louise - My wife goes shopping in these areas, as a tourist when she visits Brussels with me - She seems to like the "Innovation" department store in Rue Neuve, at least in view of her American Express billings that I am paying... She is regular size for clothing but I am certain that you would inquire in these stores where to find large size fashion, the sales staff will be advising you where to go -

Any big department store sells sell plus sizes, JC Penney, Macy's, etc... And it's not all ugly or old lady clothing.
I don't know where you are, but these are some on line stores for trendy and/or youthful, plus size clothing.

And this is a directory for plus size clothing.

If none of them are what you want, then try Yahoo's directory.

Anyone can go to a store even like Sears for goodness sakes and see a section where it says plus sizes. There are also stores for guys & women too that say "big and tall we fit them all" There are stores in almost every large shopping mall that I have been in where at least one is for size Plus.

Depending on how your "upper body" is, you might be able to shop in the junior's dept at Target. The shirts go to an XXL and are very cute.
