I told this man to leave,he always asks for more time. I am miserable. I do not have the heart to throw him out in the streets. He has made me a prisoner in my house. He spies on me. He checks my messages on my cell phone. He has even gone through the web for quest registry for motels. He always promises me that he is leaving at a certain point, when when it comes to that point, something always comes up. How do I convince this man that even though he his living in my house,he has no claim on my life, and that he needs to find a way to move on?

Are you making excuses? Of course you are. When I wanted out of my marriage I left. I gave him the house, the car, the dog, and all the furniture! What is it with women who think they should throw the man out. Of course he has no where else to go. He has been paying for your home together for years! He didn't cheat on you and get a new apartment and mistress that he could move in with. Of course he is not going to go find someplace else to live because he already has a home. Women need to get over themselves and this fake right to kick the man out. If you're unhappy and want to leave him then do it. How dare you blame him for your reason to keep this b/s going. You should be ashamed of being so weak. If the house is in your name and you pay all of it, then put his stuff out. Box it up and have movers come to pick it up, change the locks on the doors immediately along with the security code for the alarm system if you have one. Then when he comes back he can't get in unless you let him in. When he makes a scene call the police and when they ask you if he lives there, tell them he had been evicted and none of his property is within the home anymore. Then go on with your life. Stop waiting for him to leave!

where did he live before he met you?
well you might have to be the one that leaves. just leave him there yourself and move on. and be sure to take your cell phone with you and to change the phone number. and find someone else and try to get over him the best that you can. if this is truly what you want to do.

You need to suck it up and throw him out. Quit giving him the option to leave and make him leave. he is a big boy, who can take care of himself. He is playing on your guilt.Stop letting him manipulate you. Give him a date to be out and then enforce it.

Note: If he has lived there that long, you may need to evict him. Start the eviction process by giving him a 30 day notice in writing, and go from there.

Instead of using his time to spy on you, check your messages, and get on the Internet he should be out there finding some place to live. Sorry, but he has no intention of going anywhere. You're going to have to kick him out. Don't feel bad about it, he's making things harder than they have to be.
