once every week i go with a church organisation to feed the homeless down in my local area. i also donate a bunch of food every week to that same organisation from my shop. they're very appreciative and i love doing it.
i also get involved in, and have organised plenty of fund raisers, alot of them through the church and a few of them have been for cancer research - mainly because my best friend had leukemia. we raised alot of money for them as well as breast cancer.

I used to pretty often. 5-10 hrs a week at the food bank. But now I live in a small town and there's not as much going on in the lines of helping people. I was just thinking of that the other day. I really wish there was more going on. I enjoyed hanging out down there and it was helping out, which is always a plus.

you'll favor to petition the court docket to revise the order to settle for community service hours from yet another company. The decide, if life like, might want to not have a difficulty with that. you want to the contact them as we talk. do not WAIT because the decide will probably not extend the cut-off date and can't settle for any excuses if the 28 hours at the on the spot are not executed.

Habitat, youth detention centers and women's shelters, but it's been a long time. I want to begin again. It helps to focus on others and not be so self-absorbed all the time.

I donate my hair to Locks of Love, but I don't know if that's considered community service. For some reason it's just not been something that I felt compelled to do. I do other things though.....

I was a voluntary advice worker for years. Then they started paying me to do it. Changed the whole feel of it immediately....not for the better either.
