the ? apllys to those on or have been on probation do they check up on you when you travel.they asked for a contact number and address where i will be.a friend says they will only call if you do not return.p.s my probation is not for a serios crime just some bad luck.

They might check, especially if the PO thinks you are less than honet, but the reason they ask is more related to needing to know who to contact if you don't show up for your next appointment. A little more bad luck would be adding a false reporting charge on top of a charge for violating probation.

They may, they may not. It really depends on your probation officer, their case load, and whether they feel you are a risk or not. I'd assume that they will, simply because the penalties for violating probation can be pretty severe.

I am lost with all that.

My advice to you is ....Stay clean, stay sharp and stay away from trouble, period.
You may or may not be checked on, so never assume anything, because, that one time you have some MORE bad luck....you might find out you have a P.O. that DOES check his clients.

My son had to get travel permits from his PO when he traveled but they never checked on him. Stay out of trouble and report to PO when you are suppose to and everything will be ok.

be specific now...what was your "bad luck''? they don't check up on you ....your probaton officer as routine will ask how your trip was; etc. being that you are stupid you will get caught in a few lies and back to court you go. get a f-ucking clue

they won't check up on you..JUST DON"T GET IN TROUBLE while out of town. and report to PO next appt.
