I just received my MacBook Pro the other day. They are worth every penny. They're fast, elegant, reliable and secure. It's so fast, it's actually replaced my desktop Mac as my main machine. It seems to get pretty great battery life, as well. A friend of mine spent $3,000 on a Dell XGS and it's a terrible notebook. He can't use it for 30 minutes without having to charge the battery. And the thing is huge, hardly something I'd want to drag around with me. The MacBook Pro, on the other hand, can run for over 3 hours without needing a charge and is only and inch thick and weighs just over 5 lbs. If you have any specific questions about Mac, just send me a message. I'll be happy to help.

Well if you are looking for a laptop for family stuff like organising pictures editing viedo etc. MacBook is the perfect thing. Aslo the remote is a major advanage as the laptop can be used as a media cantre. But if you are looking for a more fun laptop for a cheaper price I'd say you should buy the Dell XPS 1710. It is the best gaming laptop and stylish too.

Yes Macbooks are very good. The problem is that Apple has created a very tight market which does not leave a lot of room for developers. If you are traditionally a PC user, it will take sometime to get used to the graphical user interface (GUI). As far as problems go, they have as many issues as a PC would.
