Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you to. Some of our very best Americans used to be Italians! We have a part of St. Louis called The Hill, which is our little Italy. Its where the Italian immigrants settled, and its home of generations of Italian Americans, the very best Italian bakeries and restaurants. Beautiful well kept and safe neighborhoods where grandmothers and grandfather still speak in Italian.
I don't have any Italian in me, but my family was from the very far south of France close to Italy, and my coloring reflects that, dark hair and olive skin. My grandparents always joked that someone must have been visiting from Italy centuries ago.
Take care and good luck!
