Well, since Jewish people do not celebrate Christmas, I wouldn't get ANYTHING at all that even remotely resembles a Christmas gift or wish. I would get something that emphasis the Holiday season like new years, family and togetherness. A nice greeting card with a gift card attached would be nice and neutral. Maybe a card that says something to the affect of having a prosperous new year. What ever you do, Tread lightly.

A Gift Card or Gift Certificate would be a good gift. Buy one that you think he/she would use . For example Book stores, Restaurants, a home store like home depot or a green plant for use in the office or maybe a coffee house gift certificate. These are something that can be used right away.

Gifts are always nice . Hanakuk is for children. Maybe get him a tie, coffee mug,scarf, DVD, CD.
