Because 9/11 was a majority of his fault, and he left many problems in the country for Bush to fix; beleive it or not, Bush fixed them.

While I give him credit for a budget surplus, and good financial planning. It is debatable if he could have done it in a time of war,not to mention the biggest natural disasters in Americas history. Also other than the budget deficit, in every other financial category our economy is now doing as well or better than in Clinton's time.
As for the WMDs, You seem to forget that both Clinton and Kerry both publicly stated that Iraq had WMDs. Clinton had the same intelligence the Bush Administration had. Not to mention Saddam used them on the Kurds. WMDS include Chemical weapons which is what most believed he possessed. There is no doubt he had them. The question really is where are they now? If Saddam no longer had them, did he destroy them or give them to someone? I hope we do not find out the hard way.

actually, Bush isn't even that conservative of a guy. he's extra of a average. Clinton replaced into leaning extra in course of average than left-wing. He did an ok pastime. yet save in options, what a guy does for an economic equipment for the period of his presidency would not initiate to coach until eventually the subsequent guy's in power, taking ether the respect, or the fault for some thing he did not do. i'm hoping to god that Newt Gingrich runs for president. he's a historian. 0.5 the blunders polititians make may be prevented in the experience that they basically study up on their historic previous.

Because Clinton didn't. The budget surplus was due largely to the tax cuts initiated by the Republican Congress and that surplus was also boosted by a revolutionized industry, mainly the software market. Clinton as well as other prominent Dem's believed Iraq to have WMD. Clinton dropped the ball on quite a few things such as engaging terrorists when they attacked and selling information to Communist China. Clinton and Bush both aren't great but both aren't horrible either.

Every aspect of your argument is flawed.
There were WMD's in Iraq, just not nuclear.
The budget surplus had little to do with Clinton and more to do with his Republican Congress passing bills limiting spending. Oh yeah, and that huge unsustainable tech bubble that artificially inflated our economy.
The downsized military crippled our defense.
And Clinton was very intelligent, but Bush is not Stupid.
I could spend hours on why Clinton was a terrible president, but I'm not going to waste my time on you beyond responding to your question because your mind is already made up anyway.

Because he didn't . one what do you call gas filled artilery shells that kill thousands at a time WMDs maybe. Budget surplus was from first Bush policies not Clinton's. Rumsfeld wanted to reorganize and do away with waste in the military. Clinton cut our military by 8 divisions for 18 to 10 which was too big of a cut so Rumsfeld had to work with the Army he had not the army you wish for. Clinton's failure to do something about Osama and Al Quida gave us 9-11 and the strengthening of Hezbollah and Hamas because he was more concerned about building a lasting legacy to his ego.

They have all had there good an bad. I will not give any credit to Clinton for the budget. He did not do that nor did he have anything to do with making it that way. Clinton was a good speaker and could move people. He had some good ideas but lots of bad ones also. Bombing an asprin factory for instance.
Bush had his good points and bad ones also. I just believe more in Bush as his party supports what I want in this country.

I *am* a Conservative, about as conservative as they get. I agree that Clinton did a *much* better job than Bush. Used to be, I'd have said the three worst presidents in American history were Jimmy Carter, Franklin Roosevelt and Lyndon Johnson (in no particular order). GWB's a bigger idiot than Carter and has done more damage to our reputation abroad. GWB's done more to undermine the integrity of government than LBJ, and has overseen a greater expansion of government incursion into private life than FDR.

Your opininon matters. Now, I'll share mine. I have NOTHING against Bill Clinton. He will always be "tainted" in the eyes of some because of his womanizing. That doesn't change my opinion of him as a good political leader. Bush, on the other hand, is highly religious--something I admire. He was a little too outspoken when he first took office, and I thought he would get his fool head blown off before the end of his first term. I like his outspoken way to a point, something this writer also possesses. We both just have to learn when to "rill it in" a little, and that can sometimes be hard.

What is screwed up? The economy is better than it has been in 10 years, interest rates are down. Taxes are down. Revenue is up.
Medicare/Medicaid benefits have been increased.
Clinton was a "do nothing" president who allowed the enemy to prosper. He was an embarrasment and still is. Clinton thought there were WMD's in Iraq (fact) and did absolutely nothing about it. That is scary.

Don't forget a record budget surplus!
Because Clinton did everything they whined about for years and never accomplished. Just look how badly they've screwed up things when they had control of every branch of government.
It's a record that should keep them out of power for half a century - but it won't. Too bad
