If you count the number of American soldiers now killed in Iraq, the number wounded and maimed, the cost of the whole operation and the fact that there appears to be no end in sight for these losses, any logical thinker would begin to think differently from you.

America occupying Iraq and Afghanistan(as you say) because of 9/11 is completely false. The real culprit was Osama Bin Laden and that was the man that we should have continued focusing on. Afghanistan told us that they were not going to allow us to get him and Bush just stepped back (which was wrong). We are in Iraq so that we can serve democracy to the people who have been terrorized by Hussein. This just enforces the world's notion that Americans are the most misinformed people. its truly sad.

Your post is wrong on several levels. First, President Bush never stated that Iraq had anything to do with 911. This is a liberal myth which has been repeated so often that many people believe it without examining the facts. Second, the United States has not engaged in war direct or otherwise in Palestine. This is a weak attempt to portray the United States as culpable for the actions of Israel. We support Israel as an ally, as we do many other countries, but we are in no way responsible for their actions justified or not. There is no legitimate evidence whatsoever to indicate that the United States is responsible for the deaths of more than half a million people anywhere in the world outside of legitimate military operations resulting from war. Now try to understand this. There are terrorists in the world, they are at war with America and what we stand for. This has been true for many years now and yet many people refute all evidence of action which supports this contention in a desire to indict America as the cause of all the world's ills. This is a fallacy. The United States is not the cause of all war in the world and defending ourselves against threats is a proper course to follow period.

I think Bush is a good president, not the best but good. He has done 3 major things wrong;

1) Let the meda and in-informed public get to him about the N Korea situation
2) We won the war, he needs to pull out and let Iraq fight for itself like America did for its freedom against the Brits
3) And he let the Dems take Congress

Besides those 3 things, hes a good president; but noones perfect. We'd be in a sh!thole w/ terrorist attacks bimonthly and every American would be on wellfare if we would have elected Kerry.

So Bush; a good president and the better man for the job in the election.
