I want to be able to do the one click option along the bottom toolbar, next to the start icon, with Internet Explorer, how can I make this happen?

There should be a icon for Internet Explorer on your desktop. If so, simply left click on it, hold the mouse down and drag the icon down to the toolbar. That's it!

If there is no icon for Internet Explorer on your desktop, find it in your start menu and do the same thing. Click and drag it down to the toolbar.

easy first get an internet explorer icon on the desktop.now right click on the taskbar and click on lock the taskbar if there is a tickmark next to it ,if not dont do anything.now drag the internet explorer icon next to the start menu and its done

right click on the task bar
hover over Toolbars
make sure QuickLaunch is checked
place an IE link in the quicklaunch bar if it isnt already there. just click and drag to add a shortcut.
