i bought these Lululemon athletica pants..which are basically black yoga pants.. and they were over $100 with tax.. so i went to wash them and afterward there was that stuck-on lint. the problem is, im not the one doing the laundry in my family..so im not 100% sure what they were washed with. although now my problem is.. i have all this lint around my bum and it wont come off unless u pull at it. its there ANY way i can remove this lint?? (i've tried washing them again, as well as those lints rollers -- NEITHER WORKED)

You best bet, and I am serious, get a pair of tweezers, and pick it off, it will takes a long time but you will love the results.

LOL... it is called pilling. And, the best way to get rid of it, is with a razor! It happens all the time. Especially between the legs, and around the behind. Where the fabric rubs together. It is really common, you didnt do anything wrong!! They also have these pilling machines. They are hand held battery operating things, that are like an electric razor (which will work too by the way if you have one!!). They are sold at gadget stores, and I dont know where you live but here in USA they have a store called the "As seen on TV store", where they sell all the stuff from the info'mercials. You can find one there. But, as a cheaper method, a razor or an electric razor does the trick. It really makes your new stuff look really old really quick doesnt it?? The official name for it is Pilling. (oh and try a good fabric store, ask someone there, they might have some different ideas!!)

I recently had this happen to me, I decided to wash the throw covers, three in total. I washed them together, what a mistake! The lint from each throw got stuck to the other throws, what a mess. I had no idea how I was going to get this stuff off. I tried a lint roller, tape, a razor, nothing worked. Then it came to my mind that I had a brush specifically designed for suede, I bought it at a shoe repair store. What a Godsend! It brushed the lint right off. Mind you it took some elbow grease, 1 and a half hours worth of it, but it worked. I did have three throws after all. Had it not been for this, I probably would have ended up throwing them out. Hope this helps.

The best way to get rid of pilling...
either purchase a lint shavor... I purchased mine from Bed Bath and Beyond.. for like $8.00
or you can take it to the dry cleaners and ask them to remove the pilling....

Duct tape has never failed for me. I had a very expensive pair of black designer pants that someone gave me and I took a piece of duct tape to it and it came right off.
Hope I helped! Have a very Merry Christmas!

use any kind of tape but you need alot and place it on the area then pull it off quickly and the lint will come off on the tape or you can always use a lint brush
