You are correct, FOX does put someone on from both sides on most of their shows. That's why Independents like me watch it. O'Reilly constantly gripes about Bush's failed Immigration policy and his failure to stop the rush of Illegal aliens thru our borders. He also constantly talks about his failure to stop the violence in Iraq and the poor planning after the invasion was completed. Ever hear CBS call Clinton anything bad? Many Democrats also watch it. That is why they have more viewers than all the Cable and major network news put together. The only people that hate it are Liberals and it is for a simple reason. The truth hurts

It's because the freakin' liberals don't want both sides to be heard. Liberals are the most predjudiced people in the world. If you watch Fox News you must notice that they usually let the liberals go first. Then when the conservative has his/her turn, the dopey liberas shout over the conversation. They can't win an argument without shouting so that the other person can't be heard.

Liberals don't hate Fox, what we hate is their claim to be 'Fair and Balanced'. If you want to have a program or a network that supports a point of view, go ahead, but be honest about it.
And, any claim that Faux is belanced it laughable. All of the studies and reports on their reporting asside, you only need to look at what they say themselves. Murdock is a well known supporter of conservative causes and started the network as a means to distribute his point of view. And, there have been several internal memos from the upper management leaked to know they always look for a conservative spin on everything they report.

I think the best answer to your question is to consider a group of children engageing in a squabble. When one does not want to hear what the other has to say, they will put their hands to their ears and start humming or say, "I can't hear you." It is childish but they are children so we expect it. When it come to liberals and FoxNews, we have the adult version of "I can't hear you."
I don't like Hillary or Gore or Kerry myself. But when they say something, such as Kerry's comments on his recent trip to Iraq, I still try to listen. It may not be easy but the guy is a senator. Maybe he has a good point. Liberals don't want their world view challenged like that. To admit Hannity might have a good point would be like saying the sky is red.
I agree with you that Fox does give both sides a chance to speak. O'Reilly may be the most arrogant guy on Fox but he speaks out against both sides. I like Colmes too. I try to see what he's trying to say. My biggest problem with politics today is that everyone is shouting at the top of their lungs and very few are listening.
Short answer to your question: Liberals don't want their world view challenged.

All news reports on TV are two sided. They all claim to be fair.
The fact is that if I don't like your "tilt" on the story And I am opposed to it, then I would call you "anti-me".
Liberals don't like Rush but, that's ok. rush doesn't like Liberals. The fact that I said it, makes it true..... Isn't!
the USA is a Great nation that allows us to voice our opinions no matter how left or right it seams.
I am sure Foxnews is unbiased. It's just unbiased more to the right.

Fox News is run by Bush allies and they are openly biased.
Listen to Fox anchors, and you'll hear them, literally, say WE when they 'mean' Republicans.
It has been demonstrated that those who watch fox news score lower on tests about current events than those who get their news from other sources. why? because fox lies. (It has to, it supports bush.)

Because Fox News is number one which makes it the majority's news and liberals hate the majority no matter where it applies.

Oh, they have another show on there? Because I don't really consider Hannity and the other guy an example of their self-proclaimed "fair and balanced" style.
