Why would you pass gas at the table anyway.
Excuse your self, leave the table, go into the bathroom and THEN pass your gas!
At the table is beyond rude!
And don't say you have no control over it, Men just use that as an excuse to fart.

Only leave the table in a hurry if there are lit candles on the table. Otherwise, hold your plate up to the person next to you and ask, "Does this meat smell funny to you?"

Ignore it. If you leave the table, that person will be embarrased cuz they know that someone else knows.

I think that etiquette dictates that you don't say anything, but it also dictates that you excuse yourself. If someone does it and doesn't apologize or leave, they should be called out and told to leave.

To relieve him or her from his or her embarrassment, it would be proper if you release a fart too.
