Oh yeah, we just love to imagine the gut-wrenching cramps, the agonizing back pain, the bloating, the headaches, the bleeding, the vomiting, the overall general feeling of shittiness that overcomes us every month. Why in the blue f_ck would anyone want to voluntarily go through that sh_t every month when we could be shopping or something? Are you high? The minuscule mentality of men could never even process the possibility of dealing with the issues a female body goes through every day let a lone at "that time of the month". So back off!

The most disturbing thing to me is that some gynaecologists (male of course!) have actually told me that PMS is all in the mind, "there's nothing there to hurt!" Like they would know! I think every male OB/GYN doctor should recieve some kind of hormone shot so that at least 3 times in their lives they would have a very heavy, painful period--and not know when it was coming! It might teach them a little more about their chosen profession, not to mention a little compassion!
And we can hope that those unexpected periods would come when they're about to go on holiday; on their honeymoon; or during their final exams!!

PMS is definitely NOT an act. Boyfriends should be more understanding - or leave home for a week while we suffer.

Half the time i think it is. Girls in my gym class sometimes had PMS 3 times a month and they were on separate days.

Yes i do think they think we make it up!
I look GREY when it's that time of the month, i do just need to sleep it off like a hangover.!!
Can you imagine the complaints from a bloke if he was having to endure that every 28 days, it would be a totally different conversation!

oh tell him to shut up .... of course PMT is real - i turn into a proper psycho ***** certain days - i snap at everything and my poor husband doesnt cross my path certain days of the month !
:-) LOL tell him to behave and get you some chocolates when you are feeling cranky

Oh my god - of course it exists, it's a nightmare - no one wants to be angry for a week solid every month - it does nothing for the lines on your forehead!

I wish guys would experience it -- then they would realize that it isn't an act. If they had to go through half the sh!t we do.....they'd never make it.

They can't realte to it. Guys usually can't emphathize with others as well as girls can. You can show him scientific facts....fluctuating hormone levels. Look it up in any book or on the web. He can't dispute cold hard facts.
