I am a 24yr old and I am ALWAYS tired. I go to school part time and work full time, 95% of the time when I get home from school at 8:30 at night I DO NOT want to study or even open the book because I am exhausted. My job is a teller which is not a hectic job at least not in my bank but, every day I am exhausted. I've made an appointment with my dr to do a regular check up. This is not the first time its happened its happened before and when I do the blood work I am fine. Is there ANYTHING that I can take or do that is healthy to increase my energy. It sucks because I am normally knocked out by 10 on the weekdays and on Friday nights too. On Saturdays since I wake up at 2 in the afternoon then saturday nights I go to sleep like at 1 or 2 in the morning. Are there any herbals pills that give you energy. Any suggestion would be truly helpful.

* I do wake up for work at 6:30 in the morning.
(could it be normal that I am tired at 8:30 at night when I get home from school?)

bee pollen helped me when I was in college.
In high school I developed an addittion to caffine, I dont mean just coffee I was taking 10-20 caffine pill at about 25mg each (equaling about 5 cups of coffee each) so to by the time I got older I knew that all of that caffine was wearing me down, sure I had energy but it was killing me. so I taked to my mom and see starting me on b12 and bee pollen. at first it did not see to help but after being on that much speed what would. when I started college I decided to test the effects it had on me and quit taking bee pollen and my b complex and I noticed a big change. also as werid as it seems you may want to try exersizing more, that seems to give me more energy as well.

What you do is totally normal. You SHOULD have some form of caffeine in the morning (NOT PILLS, DANGEROUS), like chocolate, coffee, or tea. You should have not too much sugar but a little, and you should also eat a lot of fruit... Bananas are the best; eating two will give you 90 minutes of nonstop energy. The fruit are really helpful, and also remember to eat grains, especially whole grain.

Hon, I totally understand you!

I think that you need to incorporate more citrus like oranges and grape fruits to your diet!

Do you eat possessed and fast foods? those ZAP your energy like you wont believe it!

Take some gensieng and rink a lot of water. Beleive me I work full time and go to school full time, and to top it off, I take the bus
and the commute is about 1hour to both places!

Avoid sugary foods! go for whole grains and cooked foods instead! You are better off packing your lunch from home than eating out! Nobody makes any cheap healthy foods anymore!

I hope thats answers your question!
Goodluck

You aren't doing anything fun for you. You should do some cardio exercises. Go for a walk or a jog, it will force your blood to move around and help wake you up. Also make sure you get enough water. If you don't have enough water in your body your cells become dehydrated and move slower. So drink up and move around.

How do you feel about yourself? The answer usually starts there if your doctor finds you to be healthy. Do you have a low self esteem? Do you eat properly and exercise regularly? Do you have any drug habit your not admitting to yourself or the rest of the world. I know my answer is mostly questions, but sometimes that works.

Maybe you need to see a Doctor. You could have glandular fever or CFS....a simple blood test might give you some answers. Oh, and when they do the blood test, make sure they include a liver function test....

I've tried a lot of things, even adapex didn't give me energy. I've been taking B-12 shots and they seem to work for me.
