I sooooo wanna say yes. But I'm looking at my daughter's orthodontia bill and it is making my stomach turn!!
I mean i soooooooo see your point. When people smile, it's not just their face that lights up; it is their entire personality. Such an inner beauty is shown that permeates their whole being! I love a smile...... YES... it does a great deal for a person.
But I'm thinking back to the time I cracked my tooth in half and my boyfriend that was with me at the time never asked me out again. Lol. I remember him making some crack about how I looked like I belonged at a NASCAR race or something. *sigh*
Soooooooooo ........ is a smile the easiest way to improve one's looks? Oh yes!!!
Is it the cheapest? lol .......not always. *wink*

How about saying, a smile is the *best*, if not necessarily cheapest, way to improve your looks. Let people know you have a little bit of sun inside. Let people know you have a little piece of sun for them.

Lol yes it probably is. The only way I can afford for now :-) Maybe that's why very rich people don't seem to smile a lot.

Yes AND No. Well, usually, anyone who'd wear a smile would look a lot better than when he's frowning; perhaps even younger. But what if the features of your smile aren't quite that "presentable" right? haha.

God no....Duct tape over the whole face would improve so many people
I am luckily completely perfect and smile about it quite alot so I am covered.
