I WAS always implies past tense

I purchased and I used to purchase are both past tense whereas I purchase is present

So 1 and 3

How about 'I was always satisfied with the products that I had purchased'? I think this sounds better. I'm not sure if the others are grammatically correct but none of them sound quite right.

I believe that both 1 and 3 are correct though I think 1 sounds better.
