1.i have tried this tips: get beaten by the elite 4 and then fight oak, if we win he will hand us the celebie, but after i get beaten by them, oak isn't willing 2 fight me. i notice that to get deoxys first i have 2 unlock the mystery gift, and then save game, turn off my GB, and access the option MYSTERY GIFT on the menu screen, but it sounds like we need an adapter. my question is how does it work 2 get deoxys?

Okay I'll only reply to the first part of the question. First of all it's not possible to fight Professor Oak (assuming you mean Oak as in Professor Oak) at all in any game legally. That's only possible through cheating devices usually.
Second of all - stryker is indeed right. You need to get an island ticket (which I believe is called an Aurora Ticket) from a Nintendo event in order to get to Birth Island to where Deoxys is at in either Fire Red, Leaf Green or Emerald.
Also stryker is indeed right that Celebi can only be gotten from Nintendo events as well.
Note: Something else I should add since stryker mentioned something about a Mystic Ticket. There is such a thing but that ticket is also only available through Nintendo events. The Mystic Ticket allows you to go to Navel Island which is where Lugia and Ho-Oh are both at.

i never know you can fight oak, are you sure? deoxys needs the mystic ticket to get to aurora island and celebi can only be taken from a stupid nintendo event which doesn't even occur overhere where i stay
