Disney usually has good deals that come in a package, especially for a 4 member family. Plus, Disney has been hurting somewhat on the financial side so there are alot of great deals out now! There are 3 types of resorts, deluxe, moderate, and value. The value is very affordable and fun if you have younger children. They have the resorts that design around music, movies, and sports. For a family of 4 for a week its about $1600. I would also suggest the park hopper. IT is a lot of money upfront but an overall good value since you have the ability to jump from park to park. Another big thing I recommend is the Disney Meal Plan! Its around $300 or so per person for a week I believe. You get a certain amount of points and each resturant is either 1 or 2 points, I know Cinderella's Castle is 2. You get an appetizer, entree and dessert. Plus you can get snacks from those carts around the parks. This food plan really saves you a lot of money if you think about all your getting and Disney's famously high prices.

Well depending on what your looking for you can save money if you have a promotional code to use in disney's website. Be careful using certain places offering discount tickets i.e the time share trap - just listen to their offer and save a bundle - not. Are you a florida resident ? if you are you can save a lot. Can' t save money there well how about saving on the hotel room - find a hotel on 192 for 250-300 a week around the arabian nights area. This puts you about three - four miles a way from disney. If your going to stay at disney try getting in at the the carribbean or coronado and get a length of stay pass. Good hotels you can take the bus into the park before it opens and can see the fire works from the hotel.

Disney has value hotels that are on their property. Sometimes you can even get in early to a park when you stay in one of their hotels. Since you'll be there for a week, make sure you get a park-hopper pass. Depending on what time of the year you go, and how far you're coming from, Disney has a campground on property that can be cheaper. We have some friends that stay there a lot (we're in Miami), and they love it. It's almost impossible to get good deals on Disney tickets unless you're a Florida resident, and go in the off-season. Disney is so fun for kids of all ages. We took our very young children to Magic Kingdom, and even the 9 month old could go on almost all the rides. Weather wise, come anywhere between October and April, and enjoy our Florida sunshine!

I really want to help you, but, prices are different depending on where in Disney World you go. There are full-blown restaurants and there are fast food type places, including a McDonalds. Then there are ice cream shops, candy shops, etc. Also, will you be eating at a resort? Those are more expensive. I would say for you to check the website, or at least can you let us know where you think you're most likely to eat?

I don't know what kind of deal an agent can get you, but I know if you set it up yourself through the Disney website at http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/index you can find package deals starting at $1500 for a family of four for a week. If I were you , I'd price it both ways. Sometimes agents know about special deals that are only available if you ask!

HA! No matter what, you are gonna be spending BIG bucks!

I'd say to just research as much as you can everywhere for the best deals and plan everything very carefully, including solutions to possible emergencies that could happen at any time.

Have fun!

when i went there, we found it way cheaper to buy the tickets at venders in Orlando rather than purchasing them thru a travel agent or buying them at the gate. You almost get 40% off!!

I don't think that's the best place to go... Its amount of deaths and injuries caused by rides are massive, even up to the level of Six Flags.
