I am a kid!!!
Not a young one but not a old one either
And like most of you know, kids dont like spending money
So, i was wondering, is it possible to create a ps2 network adaptor myself?

You will need an old washing up liquid bottle, some sticky back paper and a Sony hardware manufacturing plant.

Or just go buy one :-) :-)

I'm afraid not. I take it you have the old style PS2? Well, the best place to find network adaptors is eBay. If you can get someone to help you on there, you should be able to pick one up for around £15-£20. However, you are better off with Nintendo DS, they come with built-in wireless for online gaming and it's all free :D
