ever do a side by side study of islam vs. christianity.
There are as many verses in the bible that say kill those who dont believe as you say there are in the Quran.
and before you start telling me to tell you what they are I think its best you put some effort into it yourself. If you did you swould see the problem with them is not islam its interpretation. One muslim killing another is one of the biggest sins in islam yet look at all the killing of shia and sunni in Iraq. Its all political. It has nothing to do with islam.

it suits the purposes of Republicans if everyone is afraid of and hates islam

It does not say in the Bible to kill unbelievers - but it does in the Koran.

In the New Testament, a common theme reiterated throughout is to love thine enemies and convert others by being a shining example of all things Christian.

You, sir, are a twit for expounding on things you are obviously deeply ignorant about.

The point you are missing is that Christianity has reformed and many know not to take everything in the Bible literally.

However, some factions of Islam take every verse in the Koran literally.

Love is the only force that can turn an enemy into a friend.

Learn how a former terrorist's love for his wife set him on a journey that ultimately exposed the lies he was taught and helped the walls of hate within him crumble as love and respect for mankind finally grew in his heart.

The solution to terrorism is in his story. Walid Shoebat

You should do a side by side study of Christianity(you don't understand it). Where are those verses(besides mosaic law) dose it command Christians(by the way the mosaic law is for jews) to kill people that sin?

This just shows how much you know about the bible.. I love how people will try to trash the bible but don't even understand it...

edit* but your bashing republicans that believe in the bible and stating that christians are commanded to kill people...

The Bible says a lot of things, some seem contradictory, but the teachings of Jesus Christ speaks of forgiveness, a concept totally lost on both the Jews and the Muslims, who both follow the concept of "Eye for an eye, Tooth for a tooth. When that philosophy is followed, the conflict never ends.

Thank you very much for clearly demonstrating your Bible ignorance. There is NO commandment in the Bible for Christians to convert non-believers to Christianity and to kill those who will not convert, VERY MUCH unlike the Koran.

Under the law of Moses, God commanded that Israelites (NOT non-believers) who committed certain acts like murder and homosexual sex acts were to be put to death. There were also times that God unleashed His wrath against certain groups, like when He rained fire and brimstone down on Sodom and Gomorrah, and there were times when He commanded the Israelites to kill, like when the walls of Jericho fell, but God NEVER unleashed His wrath against any person or group because they did not believe in Him -- He unleashed His wrath against those who were evil and wicked in His sight because of the sins and abominable acts those people had committed.

Go back and read the Old Testament account of Jonah -- God commanded Jonah to go into Ninevah and proclaim that God was going to destroy all the inhabitants for their sins, but after the King covered himself in sackcloth and ashes and repented, and all the people of Ninevah followed suit, God spared them all.

The difference here is that the Koran gives a VERY SPECIFIC commandment to those who believe that during a Jihad (Holy War) it is the mission of every Muslim to convert non-believers to Islam, and those who refuse to convert ARE TO BE KILLED. Not even the Imams or the Koran scholars here in the U.S. or abroad can argue this. Using the Sunni and Shiite tribes in an attempt to claim that Americans have a misunderstanding of Islam is a smokescreen, and a weak one at that. See, some of us actually READ our Bibles and have READ the Koran.

So I can assume by your question that only Republicans are Christians? How do you know they haven't already done a side by side comparison? Every person has an idea what is a priority and what is not in all facets of their life. You are the presumptuous one here.

Maybe its YOU who needs to do a side by side study of these words:
The "Islamic terrorists" are evil! They have said they want to kill all infidels. What is your next question?

I don't think Republicans are chopping of the heads of people that don't pray as in Somalia. Please explain how it suits the purpose of anyone for people to hate Islam?

You sound like a preacher.
Which is fine.
(But your sermon may be amiss. Republicans are against all terrorists, no matter what their religion.)
If you are going to preach to the people, you must become more tolerant yourself.
Good luck.

Compare this what happened in UK, when a rapist do his thing to several numbers in UK, why nobody in UK complaint that person as Christian terrorist.

But if a muslim doing it, they would called islam terrorist.

Double standard happened in USA and every state in EU.
