Eating, arguing, telly.
Wishing I was somewhere else; and that there was a board game that everyone a) can be bothered to play, b) knows how to play, and c) enjoys. Resenting the tin of tea and book token again - have people no imagination? And the fact that however much I spend on my kids, they still want more; they don't know they're born, and it's my fault, somehow.
Wishing the run-up didn't last three months while the actual day lasts 12 hours before the TV adverts & shop window displays are stripped down & it's all about kitchens and sofas again.
Happy Christmas, everyone.
