I'd be Ernst Fresleven from Heart of Darkness because I'd like to be well regarded amongst my peers, and also be killed by a tribal leader's son after having killed his father in a disputer over a chicken. I also like the idea of grass growing up through my bereft ribcage by way of some kind of existential warning to others about the futility of the pursuit of personal gain.

Cheers.

well, if Artemis Fowl Junior was a girl then it would be him; his intelligence well exceeds mine and his future is already layed out for him. He is hardly affected by puberty and (this may sound rather childish) he lives in a fantasy world that I may only dream of; a world that doesn't and most likely will never exist for me. He may fall into life and death situations, and he may be an arrogant git sometimes, but his life and my life are completely different; him having and being everything I want to have and be; his story will be told through-out the years... Now who wouldn't want that life huh? :D

I would be Pelagia in Captain Corellis mandolin. I love the story so much and think she is such a strong, passionate and brave person, like so many people were during those hard times.

Jonathan Strange from Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, by Susannah Clarke.

He was a completely amazing magician, and he hung out with Byron. Doesn't get much cooler than that.

I'd be Jonathan Livingston Seagull (girl version!). He's not afraid to be different and fights for what he believes in. He also pushes himself to try his best and gives whatever he does (particularly flying) what he's got. He's also really passionate about living, not just existing.
