intuitive means that you have keen insight to those situations. you are able to see them in a way others don't. You know the correct answer, great perception etc.... it is a very great compliment!

It means you have an accurate insight into a situation that you could not support. You know something is correct but you have no way of proving it.

I can do that intuitive thing if the test is multiple choice. I can achieve better than 85% correct and never work a problem. Read the question, read the choices. One answer just looks better than the rest.

My theory is our brain has the capability to do much more sub-consciously than we know how to do consciously. The brain forgets nothing. We just can't always consciously recall what is stored. The sub-conscious doesn't suffer from that problem. Complex math for example. If we remember the formula and know how to use it we can solve the problem. It may take time, but we can do it with conscious process.

But what about that feeling I have that one answer looks better than the rest with pretty good accuracy? That's my sub-conscious kicking in and remembering those formulas I've forgotten and doing the computations without my thought processes slowing things down.

It's a great thing. I wish I could turn the solutions over to my sub-conscious more often.

It means that you use your intuition.

Intuition is an immediate form of knowledge in which the knower is directly acquainted with the object of knowledge. Intuition differs from all forms of mediated knowledge, which generally involve conceptualizing the object of knowledge by means of rational/analytical thought processes (and, hence, placing a mediating idea or concept between the knower and the known).

Some philosophers consider human experience of raw empirical data (sometimes called "qualia") to be intuitive. For example, when a person sees a patch of yellow, that person is directly acquainted with the yellowness of the object, even if he or she has no name or concept for yellowness.

Intuition differs from opinion since intuition is a way of experiencing objects, while opinion is based on that experience. Intuition also differs from instinct, which does not necessarily have the experiential element at all. A person who has an intuitive basis for an opinion probably cannot immediately fully explain why he or she holds that view. However, a person may later rationalize an intuition by developing a chain of logic to demonstrate more structurally why the intuition is valid.

In popular understanding, intuition is one source of common sense and it may also help in induction to gain empirical knowledge.

This is a good thing because it is an alternate way of seeing the and understanding life that is not available to many people.

You have a good sense of something/ good feeling. Kinda like having a good hunch about things makes you intuitive. Go with your gut instinct if you have a good intuition of things!

it means you use your instincts on things & get it right.
Intuition is knowing things that you don't know you know & is very often right.
e.g. your intuition tells you that someone is lying - u dont know WHY you think that but it's your inner voice that is saying it.
It's good to trust your intuition & I do, over & above logical thought at times!
