There are a number of things you'd need to specify before my being able to fully answer this question.

The most important thing is to verify that your ISP allows you to access the internet with more than one PC. This shouldn't pose a significant problem and if I were you I'd go through the paces of how to add a second PC with them.

In France, where I live, for example, my ISP allows me to connect a second PC to the network but only via WiFi and the MACAddress of the second PC is read from the "network card" which in this case has to be a Sagem WiFi USB stick supplied by Wanadoo (now Orange). If your ISP operates in a similar fashion it's best to deal with all connection issues directly with them.

1) set the router up as dhcp server
2) set both computers as dhcp clients
3) connect router's "internet" port to the dsl modem
4) connect computers to switch ports on router (routers these days usually have 4 ports)

Instructions for connecting to the router and setting up dhcp will come with your router.

Good luck
