The Democrats are kissing-up and offering their love to Ahmadinejad.
Democrats have always believed that surrendering was the way to win.
We'll see.

Of course. This is one country the USA would not want to deal with the way Iraq was. This is because Iran is a far bigger patch and even more worrying has nukes. It is not cowed by strong-armed blusterings and could in fact return the compliments pugnaciously too, thus calling the bluff of anyone, especially the USA for it to toe the line and comply with what America dictates. With such backgroud, the only way forward is to talk and the only talk that the US wants is about nukes about which Iran has taken a very stubborn stand. If Iran can be cajoled to the discussion table, it will be a giant step forward for whomsoever thinks its nsuclear ambition is a threat. On this score, how about Pakaistan, India and Israel? America grandly has just signed an agreement to help India go further nuclear and at the same time endosing Pakistan's while completely keeping mum about the Israeli nuclear arsenal. Talk by all means as another military adventure will be highly disastrous for the USA of if there is another 'coalition of the willing.' The reality is that in the end, Iran will do what it deems best for Iran and there is not much any other country, the USA most of all, can do anything about stopping them.

no. We have seen several times how the president of Iran in closed quarters chants "jihad" towards to U.S. he needs to be replaced with moderate conservatives which is exactly what the people of Iran told him earlier this week in the elections.
