The faucet is stainless steel attached to flexible hose that stows inside, underneath the sink, will not move left or right and afraid it will break off, do not know the brand.

There's usually a nut at the gooseneck, down by the base that connects it all together. You can unscrew this to clean any debris that has built up around the base, then lubricate the gooseneck.

Check under the sink, it sounds like the hose is tied up on something or someone (lol)....that should do it!

try spraying a bit of wd 40 on it . good luck.
